About Us
The Cedar Valley Network is the product of a vision by Rev. Gary E Shelton to share quality online programming with anyone who will listen, especially those of the Global Body of Christ who are concerned about the rapidly decaying standards in society today. At first, the idea was to simply do a non-profit hobby part-time broadcasting effort as a ministry. It was soon discovered that to actually reach people, a more ambitious approach would be needed. Funding, always the next issue and obstacle, meant venturing out as an actual production and operations company so as to offer sponsorship and advertising venues for commercial concerns.
The initial phase of development is involved with establishing a single successful internet broadcasting presence that is family-friendly and honors Jesus Christ. From there a network of channels will be developed offering a variety of programming. Some of these channels will be private, subscription channels offering seminary lectures and other academic tutorials. Most will be a mixture of Christian entertainment and encouragement in various forms.
This website will be the hub of the adventure. Every activity will be tied together here for the listener and the websurfer alike.
